| Hello xanga.
For a long time I thought that I had lost something that used to mean a great deal to me. This weekend I saw a glimpse of it resurface, and found that it had evolved, and had never actually become lost. This thing is not a physical object, as I hope you gathered. Also, it is not a Pokemon, even though they evolve and can be caught. GOT TO CATCH THEM ALL XANGA.
In other news, I recently read The Origin of Species, by Charles Darwin. I realised upon its completion that most people who speak of this book have no idea whatsoever of its contents. Well I do. A teacher of mine told me that if I was to completely read the Bible from cover to cover, then I would be a truely unique individual. I'm pretty sure that I have this covered.
We won Spring Sing this weekend. Our theme was the nativity. And what was I? THE ASS. But I was the finest ass around.
Ohh xanga. |

| Here we are, xanga. I'm knee-deep in school. This last week I've been hit with some highs, and some lows. I won't go into detail, cause I don't want to. Just letting you know.
Remember xanga, sometime you will have things happen in your life that make you realise that everyone is making different decisions, but they are their own. Some show you the how low life can get, those bring you down. But then there are those special times that prove to you that life can have its silver lining. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't worth it. |

| Hello xanga. Summer is over. Not officially, but for the most part.
It has been a great summer. However, I've hit the point where I want school to be here, as have many of my friends. There was a point during school where I was looking forward to summer. This is my new idea, see what you think; Stop looking forward to things.
Some people get so caught up in looking forward to things (things to be over, things to start, things to stop) that they stop enjoying the here and now. The destination is never as exciting as the process of getting there.
I'm back xanga! |

| SUMMER IS HERE, I CAN TASTE IT. |

| Good evening xanga. Or very early morning, depending on how you look at it.
Today, Stillwater was visited by Mother Nature. I took pictures for you. First of the storm moving in.

Next the storm visited our house.

Directly followed by the Fiji house.

After all this, the normal working world broke down. People gathered on fraternity rooftops, under trees, next to metal flagpoles, all places that one would love to be in a thunderstorm that was quickly becoming tornado weather. We knew a storm was a'brewin', yet we would not head back inside. At one point I even brought out my kite, to re-enact the discovery of electricity, except with out a key.
Cars were lining the street, and there were around 40 of us outside, so we decided to make something of our time. With every new row of cars we would point to the coming storm and all scream and run inside, as if we saw the tornado in question. This would cause drivers to freak out and be hilarious.
My favorite part of the night was when, on a dare from Joey, I call my friend Matt, who is a Fiji. He is on the roof of his house and I run over. I immediatly yell "MATT, I NEED TWO OF EVERY ANIMAL! I'VE BUILT AN ARC! FOLLOW ME!" After this I ran off, my joke complete. I was about to call the equestrian team so that their horses could make their way onto my arc, but it didn't happen.
The horse will be missed, xanga. Later. |
